40Th Birthday Cake Needed
Hello,
My husband will be turning 40 soon and I would like to get a good birthday cake - any suggestions? We live in the Mill Creek Valley (Carthage/Hartwell) area.
So What Happened?™
Ordered it at Wyoming Pastry shop - the cake tasted great.

It would be a hike to Milford, but Jerry's Cheescake is the best cake place ever! They serve regular cake too taht is EXCELLENT. I think it is all in the icing!

Honestly, I like Giant Eagle cakes (much better than Kroger). Unless you want something much more expensive like a chocolate raspberry torte cake from a bakery. yummmmm

If you want a good birthday cake then you should make it yourself from scratch. Otherwise your frosting will be half shortening and your cake lord only knows if you go to a bakery.

i had a Drum cake made for my DH's 40th. He is a drummer so she put a drum set of rice krispie treats on a round cake. Very cute. We have an IGA here that makes cakes too. I don't know if you want ideas for cakes or a cakemaker.
Hope it works out.

I have a good recipe for Ice Cream Cake.
It is very easy and your kids could help you make it.
I will see if I can find the recipe tonight and get it to you tomorrow

I have an excellent recipe for a homemade cake! We all call it MOM's CAKE - it is wonderful --- I am guessing you want to get one since you are so busy... Giant Eagle usually have good cakes and if you have a Cold Stone in your area - they are wonderful... be sure to get ganache on it! Yummmm!
