3Rd Birthday HELP!!!
Does any one know of a place where I can have my son's 3rd birthday party. I live in brooklyn and dont have a car, so the place would have to be accessable through public transportation. Chuck E. Cheese is out of the question because he is scared of him...

The last Chuck E Cheese in Bklyn stinks anyway. I would never go back. Was just there for a party last Sunday. PACKED!!!!Anyway in Sheepshead Bay there was a place called the Party Gym on Ave Z and East 12 or 13. If its still there it was a great place years ago to have a party.

Hi L., there is a relatively new place in Brooklyn called MAAD FUN! It is a replacement indoor amusement center for FUN TIME USA. Check them out, the kids do have "MAAD FUN" Enjoy.

I went to two bday parties, one for a three year old and one for a four year old at Party Gym. It is on Avenue X and East 12? It's right off of coney island avenue so I am assuming it is near public transportation. They throw a great party with lots of activities for the kiddies and a room in the back for cake and pizza. Also the bday boy/girl gets to sit in a little thrown! 2 adorable! Hope that helps! Good luck 2 u!

There's a new place in Brooklyn that opened recently called Madd Fun. Its an indoor amusement park type of place. They have various price ranges. Try to get an early time, it's less crowded. I attended a party at 4:00 and it was nice, however by 7:00 the place was turning into a Madd House. LOL
I dont have the phone number but the address is 303 Stanely Ave (between Hinsdale & Snediker Ave) website is www.maddfun.com
Good luck. I did a skating party for my son's third birthday. It was good for the older ones, not good for the 3 years. Bowling and Movie Parties are good ideas also. Just a few suggestions.

I recently saw this in a Parent paper and thought it was a great idea, i will be doing it next year for my son's birthday, my son is a winter baby and 2 of his birthday party was cancelled 2 years in a row as mother nature had plans for a huge snow storm the day his party was planned, although he ended up with just a small party at home, it's not fair, but when i saw this i thought perfect and you may not have to leave the house, i havent done a lot of reseach on it, but it seems great....http://www.mypartybus.com...keep me posted, i don't think it gets any easier than this:)

I don't know about NY but, in Jersey you can rent a hall, pretty cheap, from a fire station. You can have a Firefighter party. You can even set up a tour for the kids and have them jump in the fire engine.
