3 Positive Pregnancy Tests and Spotting in the Same Day

I had unprotected sex with my mate 2 weeks ago. My period is due tomorrow but I decided to take a test today (Because I have been feeling the way I felt when I got pregnant with my daughter) I bought two boxes of two clear blue tests. I took two of them which were positive and then an hr later started spotting. I took another of the second box which was also positive. I am saving the other for tomorrow. Any thoughts? Pregnant? Not pregnant? early miscarriage?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Spotting has become very faint.... Guess I will be scheduling an appt in the next few days.

Went and had the pregnancy confirmed. Im not just pregnant......but PREGNANT PREGNANT.................WITH TWINS!!!!! Whoa! lol

I spotted in the beginning of my pregnancy too and am now at 36 weeks! I also work with a L. who had actual bleeding similar to a period for the first three months of her pregnancy. She didn't even find out she was pregnant until 4 months along cause it was the first time she had no bleeding. She now has a VERY healthy boy :)

Its not uncommon to spot especially if it isn't your first. It can be due to your hormones being off or various other reasons. I actually bled heavily one day with my second and was braced for a miscarriage that never happened - she was fine! I think the tests are fairly accurate and you are probably pregnant.

With the positive tests that you are pregnant. I spotted through both of my pregnancies. I bleed more with my second child. That was the placenta partially separating from the uterine lining (just a little) and both of my pregnancies were full term and very healthy. Spotting can be very normal while pregnant. A friend of mine got 3 "periods" when she was pregnant.. she didn't even know she was pregnant until she was 4+ months pregnant. So I would say congrats you are pregnant. I hope it's a joyful blessing for you and your mate.

I have never experienced it personally, but I have known other ladies who experience what they call 'implantation bleeding'. Sometimes when the baby attaches itself to the uterus lining it causes bleeding. It is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. This is also why some woman don't know they are pregnant, because they confuse the implantation bleeding for menstrual bleeding.

If you are worried I would call your OB and get an appointment asap. Though they usually don't see you until you are further along, they will get you in for bleeding. They can also test the hgc hormone level in your blood. The levels will be able to tell them whether you are having a miscarriage or keeping the pregnancy.

There is no doubt that you are pregnant though. If the tests came out positive, you definitely conceived. Good luck and I hope it all turns out for the best!

implantation bleeding. call your ob and set up an app. Congrats!

It sounds too early to tell. If the spotting stops, you may still be pregnant, if it continues or gets heavier, you may not be any longer. I would wait more than one day to use the next test. Your hormone levels won't change that quickly even if you have miscarried.

I had a positive test one day and then two days later started my period - no pregnancy. This happens quite often, actually. Over half of conceptions end before we even know we are pregnant. With the early tests, now sometimes we know that this is happening.

I spotted early on in my pregnancy. My daughter was FINE. Born big at 42 weeks. I'd say, YES, you are most likely preggo!! Congrats!
