I have 3 things I have been wanting to ask mamasource moms

1. anybody else experiencing orgasmic trouble on antidepressants found a way to overcome with either viagra, testosterone supplement, taking smaller amount of antidepressant etc?

2. After giving birth vaginally, does anybody suffer from hemorrhoids? Has anybody had them fixed and how painful is the surgery, how long are you out for? Mine are not terrible, but If I get at all constipated they get aggravated.

3. Please give me a name of a reputable plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck. (Lots of extra skin after weight loss) Also if you've heard of a bad one, let me know so I can avoid them.
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

1. it is common to experience decreased libido when taking antidepressants. sometimes you need to try a different kind or change the dosage. mostly, I find that using an arousal balm is the best answer. your ob/gyn can prescribe one, but it probably won't be covered by insurance, so I usually recommend an over the counter version.
2. yes! and I'm waiting until after baby #2 (hopefully, someday!) until I have them removed because I hear that it's worse than childbirth. I believe it!
3. an acquaintance can help with this. I am e-mailing her to find out and will get back with you :0)

I can't help with the first and third one but I just wanted you to watch out for something my sister had called anal fissures. It is super painful and at first she thought it was hemorrhoids. She got medication and now she is fine. Good luck.

2. I struggled for months after delivery with hemroids and when I did a search on line it told me to do the sits baths 6 times a day! WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT! Well it got so bad I was willing to try anything. So I Started doing it about 3 times a day with very warm to hot water. It took about a week of that but it finally did the trick.

I was also using dulcolax stool softener and drinking TONS of water at the time.

I am sooo sorry it is HORIBLE! Good luck!

C.,
My friend just had a tummy tuck done around March or April and she looks FANTASTIC!!! I will get her doctor's name and then send it to you! Honestly, I thought they were kind of dumb--but when I saw her I was like "Hmmmm..maybe I'LL get one!" I'll get back with you!

#2 Yes, after one of my children was born, I've had hemorrhoids ever since. And sometimes they get painful, etc. I went to a specialist once, and he said to me, "These are your choices: if you don't aggravate it, it will go away in two weeks. If you have surgery, it will heal in two weeks." Needless to say, I did not have the surgery. I make sure to eat my vegetables, because that makes it so they are not aggravated.
