for the wedding part you could look into getting a justice of the peace to marry you.

Find where you want the ceremony to be. For instance if you wanted to on the beach in...say Erie PA then you would go find a phone book for that town and look for justice of the peace listings. That way you could find out if they do beach weddings. If that doesn't work out you could call the local churches in that area and see if one of the pastors would do the ceremony.

My husband and I got married by a very good friend of ours who had been ordained over the internet. Very unorthodox, but so are we. :)

They do make bad tasting nail polish that is clear that you can try if you want.

As for the wedding. When you say priest, I think Catholic, and most Catholic priest will not marry anyone outside of a church. I would simply look in the town where you want to get married and google non-donominational preachers and see if any of them are willing to marry you. I would also go to the town's website and see if you need some kind of permit to get married on the beach.

If you have a priest or pastor, simply ask him/her if he/she is available to perform the wedding. If you don't have one, ask a friend for the name of their pastor. It is customary to offer an honorarium.

Many/most priests/pastors will require or offer some premarital counseling. Take them up on it if they do. I've never knows anyone to regret having it.
