1St Haircut - Denton,TX

I take my sons (2.5 & 5) to Cool Cutz for Kids in Flower Mound @ Parker Square. Its about $14. They make a big deal out of 1st hair cuts and are great with my wiggly sons. They take their time and there are tvs and a trains to keep their fingers occupied while the stylst does her job. Its is expensive.. but maybe for a 1st cut it may be worth it? My 2.5 yo hates getting his hair cut but sits still- much better than he ever did for my MIL or anyone else who cut his hair.

I'm sure there is a Cool Cuts somewhere there. I take my son to the one it in Carrollton. I will say however, that Super Cuts, cut his hair once and did a great job, probably even better in my opinion. It just doesn't have the kid friendly stuff. It's less expensive too, in comparison to Cool Cuts. Stride Rite at 3040 and MacArthur by Vista Ridge Mall, has a place as well inside their store. I'm always seeing people there when we go to buy shoes.

I also took my son to Cool Cuts 4 kids (www.coolcuts4kids.com). It was 17.95 I think, but well worth it!!!!! She did such a great job cutting his hair, no matter how much he moved his head! I will definitely take him there again next time around. He sat in a little firetruck, and watched "Cars" (they have several movies to choose from). They also had a great play area while you wait (we only waited a few minutes, though).

I used to take my oldest to the Cool Cuts in Parker Square, but stopped going because the haircuts were so awful. My son's hair was cut very unevenly three different times by three different stylists. Finally, I emailed the company headquarters about the terrible haircuts and they emailed me back with apologies and a free haircut, but I didn't take them up on it because I hated my son's beautiful reddish, blond curls to be messed up again. Last time I had his hair cut, I took him to the hair place by the new Kroger Store in Denton and he got the best hair cut he's ever had. That's were we'll be going for his next haircut and my baby's first haircut.
