13 Weeks Pregnant - Is It Safe/Ok to Go to Concert?

You are so cute, baby will be just fine. He/she can hear your voice around 17/18 weeks and typically begins hearing "out of the womb" noises at 20. That being said, even if you were 20 weeks it would not damage your lil one in any way. The womb muffles out a large portion of noise and many doctors maintain that loud noises in the womb actually help the baby to be used to these noises when they come out. There will be many more loud noises your lil belly will encounter throughout your pregnancy (vacuuming etc) and your little one will be well protected in there. Enjoy the concert!!!

1. I cannot remember when your baby starts to hear, but if you are not registered at www.babycenter.com, I highly recommend it. They have it all!

2. I went to an indoor concert when I was about 22 weeks pregnant and had no trouble at all. I was just told by my doc to try and not sit too closely to speakers.

Enjoy the concert, the baby will be fine. I attended a concert at about 37 weeks with my 3rd baby. He rocked out in my belly thru the whole show, he is now 2 and loves music and dancing.

I went to a Nascar race when I was about 13 weeks pregnant and it was extremely loud. My now 4 year old turned out just fine :)

And I think the answer to your first question is around mid pregnancy...i think but im not positive :)

i went when i was 7 months pregnant my Dr said it was totally fine if it doesnt hurt you it for sure wont hurt them...have fun

I went to a baseball game at 6 months, and was it loud! The baby rolled like a gator in my belly everytime the crowd roared. He came out okay...I know he can hear and he's loud.

LOL! We joke that my niece went to a Metallica concert. My SIL was 8 months pregnant. Have fun!

You should be just fine. The baby won't start to hear you until your about 6 months. 7 months they can see light on your belly. :) Have fun.

Your question made me think back to when I was pregnant and attended a concert. I think I was about 32 weeks! So yes I think it's safe =-)

Noise will not be an issue, you already got those answers. The biggest issue would be to stay hydrated if it gets hot, and avoid smoke. Have fun!

You'll be fine! I went to a concert while pregnant with my twins. There is enough sound muffling that it won't do anything. Go, enjoy yourself!!

I don't think the fetus can hear outside the womb yet but it is safe to go to a concert. I went to a concert when I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter and my OB said it was fine. Have fun!
