in 6 days I am flying to Germany with my 9, 5, 3 year olds. Anyone have any advice beside the obvious like snacks, dvd, activities; I have that already.
I am nervous, any words of wisdom.

What can I do next?

That is quite a long trip with little ones, I don't envy you at all! I just started selling a product on my website that you may find useful as it's suggested as use in the car or on planes. It's called the Snack & Play Travel Tray and you can buy it at http://www.azactivekids.com for $19.99.

No pressure, but they're nice to use when traveling with small children because it attaches right to their lap so your not having to use the little fold down tray (that's often not close enough to them, not large enough for what they're doing, stuff falls off, they bang it and annoy the people in front of them, etc.). The nice thing is it's also light weight and easy to carry on your shoulder with the strap. If you're interested, go to the website to email me. Thanks,

We are Flying this week too with our Three year old who is on prednisone and out of control. One thing I am trying this time is new toys and games. I bought some new toys and games to put in his back pack that he will see on the plane for the first time. Hopefully the novelty will keep him entertained longer than two seconds.

RELAX!!! I've done it 4 times! No Problem! It all works its self out! Just like you said, take snacks, dvds, activities, and sleep as much as possible. oh, and let the older kids help the airline attendants--they always love that...pick up trash, ask if they need anything, and the such...kids love it! And, they always get rewarded for it!!!!! Anyway, enjoy, it will go much better than you think! KIDS R GREAT!

Hello!
We just got back from Germany! Our 22 months old daughter did fine for the majority of the time. Your kids are all older and able to express verbally what they want so they should not get too frustrated. Night-flights are maybe a little easier, so hopefully that works out. We had packed Benadryl just in case, but did not use it.
We flew British Airways and their tv entertainment had a kids section with a pretty good selection for older and and younger kids ( I think you can check this already out on line). For us painting supplies (doodle-pro) ended up being the most important.
This just on the side, BA lost out luggage on the way in and on the way out, so I would recommend to have a change of clothes etc. in the carry on so you are not stranded with your travel clothes.
Phoenix Security was very very helpful in getting us all through with minimum hassle and in Heathrow they allowed us to cut into the line right before the Security scanner since we were travelling with a toddler. Duesseldorf airport was also very easy to navigate.
If you have long layovers, check out your airports online for a kids area. The bigger one's might have one set up where they can run around a little without being run over by other passengers.

That is all I can think of right now. Feel free to email me if you would like more information i.e. on Germany.

Have a great trip!
D.

We have a "travel Fairy" that brings the kids surprises if they do well. I also give my older daughter special jobs to help me with my 2 yr old. I also make sure to take a first aid kit so that if they happen to get sick I can deal with it.
have asafe trip.
