Hi, I would try using a Social Story (Carol Gray) or Comic Strip Conversation to help address these issues. If you are not familiar with these, you can Google them to find out more. Best of luck.

Maybe start with something that will mush down easily when he chews like boiled baby carrots cut into small bites or maybe soft fruit like bananas. Oatmeal or Malt-O-Meal cereal. Maybe small cooked pasta in shapes. Barilla makes mini wheels, spirals, and bowties that could be eaten with cheese sauce or add them to soup. You could slow cook chicken or beef so that it's nice and soft. Shred it and also use kitchen shears to cut it into small bites. I do this with my 2 and 3 yr old and they have never choked. If your son won't eat meat, maybe he would try something like refried beans or hummus. Both are good sources of protein but are pureed so he can't really choke on them.
I think 10 might just be a bit too young for the sex talk. Most 10yr olds still think the other sex is 'yucky'. Maybe wait another year or two and see if he's more receptive to a serious discussion at that point. Best wishes!

The food worry is going to have to work itself out. Just start with semi-mushy foods, and show him what to do. I wouldn't give him steak or anything that's going to be harder to chew until you know he's got it down.
And why are you having the sex talk with him? Is it something he's asked about and curious about? Did he ask where babies come from? I'm just wondering because if he's just laughing about it, maybe it's very uncomfortable for him. If he asks and begins laughing, change the subject and go on to something else. He'll listen when he's ready (and honestly, at 10, he may not be ready for "the talk").

My 10 yr old also has asbergers... Try oatmeal, or any kind of cereal. My son still drinks Pedisures on a daily basis, along with his vitaman, and his medicine for Irrt. Bowel. He also drinks Fruitables everyday,, they are with the rest of the boxed drinks & the pouch drinks. And as for the sex talk, he may not be ready for it yet... I know my son is not .... And yes,, just so anyone reading this,, there ARE different degrees of AS (Asbergers Sydrome) ... S. in Buckeye, AZ
