10 Year Wedding Anniversary!!! - Kansas City,KS

Just wondering what some of you other moms have done to celebrate being married for 10 years to me that is a milestone since most marriages now and days don't make it that long!! I have a year to think about what we should do we are going to Florida next summer so we plan on going to the beach and spending some time together maybe telling each other a new set of vows or something like that but our anniversary is in April and I want to do something special then! Thank you!!

What can I do next?

Ours will be this coming Oct. I think we are going to rent a jacuzzi sweet at a local nice hotel downtown. They have restaurants and shops on the first two floors, really nice, kinda like a mini mall or something. And they have a spa there that does 1hr couples massages. We have never left the kids overnight, so it would be a really big deal for us!!!! Plus, we never went on a Honeymoon - we used the money to buy our house instead, so we deserve a "get away" :)

What about a cruise? I think you can get one pretty reasonable right now. Congrats!

we knew that I would be expecting around our 10 year anniversary so not much romance was going on. however knowing that we decided to take a get away to celebrate it. Ended up going to Yellowstone in Oct (after peak season) and felt like we had the whole park to ourself. lots of hiking made for romantic setting and we had a blast..just ourselves...feeling like we were on a teenage love adventure. anyway that is what we did and it was seriously better than the day I married him

We were too poor and had a baby at our 10 yr mark. So we just celebrated our 15th last Sept. We went to Eureka Springs, AR. And that is a pretty romantic place. So thats what I would do, go somewhere romantic. Just the two of you. Congrats and have fun.

My DH and I will be celebrating 10 years in February, now less than a month away. He surprised me a couple of weeks ago with a trip to Las Vegas. Some may say, not romantic, but 10 years ago that is where we got married and he scheduled the trip to fall on our anniversary so we would be in the same place at the same time 10 years apart and he even book the same hotel were we stayed on our honeymoon. I am super excited and he was super sweet for thinking it all up. Congrats and good luck!

Maybe consider getting new wedding bands as a renewal to each other.

We're planning a trip to Beaches (aka saving for it), as we plan on bringing kiddo with us http://www.beaches.com/specials/?WT.srch=1&utm_source... we plan to do them instead of the adults only Sandals resorts. I usually travel for culture... but I wanna go to "mars" ((aka any "resort" that could be anywhere in the world, there is no culture involved whatsoever, just hedonistic pampering)).

Some other options:

- Take it a month early and head into the snow for a week at a ski resort.
- Pop over to Europe somewhere for a week. British Air typically has amazing deals in the springtime. From Mothers Day Tea (long weekend in london) for just a couple hundred round trip (I do this one almost every other year... best price to date $99 per person)... to "companion flies free" when booked with a BA credit card, etc. Also check out www.travelzoo.com BEST travel deal site period. - Take a cruise
- Upgrade jewelry
