I know this may be off the wall, but are you planning on parenting or have you considered adoption? I know how hard it is to parent at any age, but especially when you are a teenager. I am an adoptive mom to a three year old who was born to a teenage mom. I would tell you about adoption as another option if you wish.

Sorry to tell you, but I was at 50% for month, so, you could be at 75% for just as long (especially with the first one). But, if that was 3 weeks ago, and you're at 40 they won't make you wait too much longer if he doesn't come on his own.

On average, first time moms go 10 days over due. Unfortunately, cervical checks from your OB prenatal visits are not indicative of when you will go into labor. And just beause you are measuring 3 weeks ahead does not necessarily mean you are closer to delivery. Your measurements can depend on the position of the baby and how much amniotic fluid you have in there. For your body aches and pains, why not try chiropractic or massage? PM me if you would like some pregnancy-friendly recommendations.

Hang in there. I had a pregnancy message when I was 32 weeks and it helped me relax and eased some of my pains. I think that most of the responses have been helpful but one is really unnessary. I am sorry about that considering I turned you on to mama source. You will be a great mom! I just have to say that once he is here, you will never get rest so try and enjoy it now. You are almost there. I heard walking helps. I did not get to because of bed rest but people say that it works.

I went to the hospital with my first at 0/0. She was born in 12 hours. My second I walked around at 2cm & 50% for 2 or 3 weeks. It all depends on your body. I had a labor/delevery nurse tell me to get on my hands and knees and do pelvic tilts, to help the baby move down and bring labor on. It may work for you.
